Tony Woodson - Founder & Director Graduate of Saint Ignatius College Prepratory (High School) in San Francisco ~ 1980. Awarded athletic scholarship (Football) to the University of Hawaii from 1980-1985. Bachelor of Arts degree (Communications) in 1985 ~ University of Hawaii. Stint with Denver Broncos in 1985. Linebacker with the Calgary Stampeders from 1985-1986. Twice voted Canadian Airlines CFL defensive player of the week in 1986. Played linebacker for the Ottawa Roughriders from 1987-1989. Manager of New Generation Fitness Centre (2500 members) in Ottawa 1989-1990. Winner of Canadian EAS Physique Transformation Contest (Experienced Bodybuilders)1998. Spent several years conducting Personal Training in the fitness industry. Coached youth athletes in multiple sports (Basketball, Soccer, Football, etc...) over last 20 years. A passionate Sports & Fitness enthusiast. Most recently, Head Coach of the Cowboys Pee Wee Football Team ~ 2008, 2010 & 2011 Pee Wee City & Provincial Championship (Div 1) and 2012 and 2013 City Championship (Div 1). NCCP Certified.
Todd Mackay - Coach & Head of Operations of Summer Camp A Calgary native, Coach MacKay didn’t start playing football until he was 15 years old for Lord Beaverbrook High School. In his final year of high school, Coach MacKay was named to the All-Calgary Team and led the league in average yards per catch. In 2000 Todd began his coaching career as an assistant coach for Lord Beaverbrook. In 2004 began coaching with the Mavericks football team starting as Pee Wee wide receiver & running backs coach. Coach MacKay has had the privilege of coaching several very successful teams with the Mavericks. Since 2009, Coach MacKay has been on the coaching staff of teams that have won Division 1 City Championships at Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget. In 2013 Coach MacKay was named the Head Coach of the Bantam Mavericks team; a position which he still holds. Coach MacKay is one of the original members of the RAWCoaching staff. His passion for the game and dedication to teaching has helped to develop the football skills of athletes from ages from 7 to 17.
Anthony Woodson - Coach & Advisor Graduate of St Francis high school in 2005. Played 5 years as a Running Back at the University of Calgary including an All-Canadian year in 2007. Graduated with a degree in Petroleum and Land Management. Was drafted by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2010 and played the better part of 2 years with them before being traded to the Toronto Argonauts. Signed with his current team, the Hamilton Tiger Cats in 2015. Director of Spring Shells camp.
Robbie Woodson - Coach & Director of Shells Camp Graduate of St. Francis High school in Calgary AB. Currently majoring in Economics at the University of Calgary . 4 year starter with Calgary Dinos as Defensive Back. 2 time U Sports All-Canadian (2015, 2016), 2015 U Sports Can West Defensive MVP. Runs winter and summer prep programs, coach at spring and summer shells camps and director of website and merchandise.
